Melanie Katherine Villari of MKV STUDIOS is a full-time, multi talented artist from New Jersey. She is also a psychic, writer, empowerment jewelry maker, entertainment reviewer, housewife, and much more. She calls herself the Mixed Media Witch. With her free spirit and eclectic gothic style, she uses deep intuition to create her art.

For as long as she can remember, Melanie knew she was an artist! And, being an artist is a big part of who she was, is, and will be. Everything is layered within art. Her inspiration comes from old vintage photos, places and antiques she sees and collects along her life travels. You can see this in her unique styles and techniques. Her paintings are multilayered with innate details. Creating for Melanie is a release of her innermost joys and deepest fears! She does not stick to one technique and this creates her unique evolving style! Melanie keeps a personal art journal she paints in for self-development and expression. The freedom of her art journal allows her to break through artist block and fears. She feels art is a process of life that should keep flowing and not be left stagnant.
